Lots o' Luck

It's almost time to bake Irish Soda Bread. But, before I do, I thought I would share a couple of cards that I made using some scraps of paper (I think it was My Mind's Eye), some tin pins I had picked up at Michael's last year and my Cricut. Here they are:

The four-leaf clover was cut using the Designer's Calendar Cricut cartridge. It is such a versatile cartridge and definitely one of my favorites. I also did some machine stitching on these. I am still trying to perfect those skills.

So do you make your own Irish Soda Bread? Here's a picture of last year's loaf baking in the oven.

Supplies:
Cardstock: American Crafts (green); Papertrey Ink (white);
Pattern Paper: My Mind's Eye
Tools: Cricut (Designer's Calendar);
Misc. Embellishments: Ribbon (Recollections); Tin Pin (Michael's)

Absolutely adorable cards, Linda! My hubby would love a loaf of bread, but he's the bread baker in this house, not me. :) I'll bake anything else except bread. LOL!

Those cards are ADORABLE! I haven't made soda bread before but I have been making lots of bread lately so I might give it a try for St. Particks Day.

The cards are so cute and fun. I love stitching on a card. Clicked on yours to check it out up close. It's perfect, Linda, and looks fabulous!!!

Haven't ever made soda bread... but I sure would eat it! Looks delish!

Oh, Linda, these are just so darling! I love the papers with the stripes along the lower edge, the lace, stitching, and those cutie tin centers. Look how late I am to get here! I can't believe you posted this on the 9th and it's already the 18th. Time has been flying with all this busy stuff going on here. I've never made soda bread. I've made beer bread and I love how it comes out with a yeasty flavor without all the trouble of yeast bread. Now I have a hankerin' to make some. I always have the necessary ingredients except the beer.
