As soon as I saw the "Nifty" page in the the Basic Grey Hipster Snippets, all I could think of was, "at 50!" Luckily, I had a friend who was celebrating a milestone birthday. Here's the card I made for him:
Using both the top and bottom portion of the Snippets page, I stamped the man and the row of numbers. While there were banners already printed on the ledger half, I wanted mine to be dimensional so I cut them out from coordinating paper and adhered with a Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher. I added Glossy Accents to the male figure and finished the card off with some Studio Calico wood veneer and Thickers and strips of pattern paper along the top edge. Thanks to the minimal supplies used, which were all leftover from a Simon Says Stamp kit, this card came together in 15 minutes -- plus drying time!
Supplies:
Paper and Stamp: Simon Says Stamp June 2013 card kit;
Ink: Color Box (Chocolate);
Embellishments: Studio Calico wood veneer; American Craft Thickers;
Tools: Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher; EK Success Edger punch (Postage Stamp);
Misc.: Glossy Accents.
